The last of the apples are gone. All the nets need to come off so we can prune. Probably we will start cutting scion for the winter grafting season. Possibly grass cutting by mower and whipper-snipper. More watering, weeding, other maintenance tasks. Discussion and planning over coffee.

Wear sturdy boots and clothing, as well as a hat and sunscreen. If you wish, you can bring a pair of gardening gloves and your own secateurs, preferably with your name clearly written on them.
